This is an image of an ornately patterned owl, perched in front of a moon.
This illustration came from me simply wanting to draw an owl. I started by just drawing an owl and figuring out a way to create some of its many feathers. A few hours later, this patterned bird emerged. I have always respected owls – their beauty, their power, their symbolism – and I hoped to portray some of those qualities within this print.
