A very early lithograph experimenting with tusche washes.
Although I view this piece as a failure, it does serve as a reminder to some of the trials and problems that emerge during printmaking. Printmaking can be a very unforgiving art form, and it is fairly easy to lose hours upon hours of work and countless of sheets of paper and supplies when proofing an edition. It is about realizing these obstacles, embracing them along the way, and overcoming them in the final product. This piece marks what happens when you over etch a stone.
