An early pronto plate lithograph featuring a distressed soldier and his guardian angel.
I’m not sure the direct source of inspiration to this piece but it came about over the course of a few weekends of doing some pharmaceutical drug study tests. I volunteered my body to test some nasal sprays and how quickly the body absorbs them, and instead of watching movies or playing on one’s laptop, I ended up drawing this composition. The drawing was then later transferred to a pronto plate, in order to make an edition of prints. The image featured in this portfolio is the actual drawing. The lithograph version features a slightly heavier overall tone to the image.
