A quirky piece depicting a baby penguin getting taken away from his mother via a fishing hook.
This piece is an early lino cut, a medium that I have always enjoyed, but rarely practiced. One of my complaints with this form of printmaking is the lack of consistency in the prints through the edition. I still haven’t found that successful rhythm and correct technique to ensure a decent print run. Hopefully, with more time and practice, I’ll be able to hone in and create some more elaborate works involving this medium.
